Perry G. Mehrling
Perry G. Mehrling is Professor of Economics at Barnard College, Columbia University where he has taught since 1987. His research interests lie in the monetary and financial dimensions of economics, a field he approaches from a variety of methodological angles. His most recent book is Fischer Black and the Revolutionary Idea of Finance (Wiley 2005). Dr. Mehrling’s training in economics includes a MSc in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from the London School of Economics (1983), and a PhD in Economics from Harvard University (1988).
