Josh Frank
Josh Frank is Senior Researcher for the Center for Responsible Lending. His current research focuses on a variety of lending issues, with much of his ongoing projects involving credit cards and auto loans. Before joining the Center, Josh was assistant professor of economics at SUNY Cortland, principal economist for the State of New York Assembly’s Ways and Means Committee, and executive director of FIREPAW, a research and education-oriented animal welfare non-profit organization. He previously conducted research on a range of economic topics including the economics of the arts, behavioral economics, and research related to animal welfare issues and has published his work in a wide range of economic and interdisciplinary journals such as Ecological Economics, the Review of Social Economy, the Journal of Socio-economics, the Journal of Cultural Economics, Anthrozoos, and Human Ecology.
